I cook. I teach. I feed people in the Santa Cruz Mountains. For close to twenty years I’ve been a private chef and caterer—long tables, muddy boots, teary toasts, and home cooked meals.

Somewhere along the way I felt the drift a lot of us feel: we got separated from our food. From the land. From our farmers. From our own stoves.
Wylder Space is the story of coming back to center—and I’m bringing you with me.
We’ve discovered our unique voice, through REAL food, kitchens and community.
The kind where a pot of broth hums quietly all day.
Where a cabbage turns into kraut and jars ping on the counter after canning.
Where bread disappears before it cools and the table is wide enough for one more chair.
What we do is simple:
We cater weddings and gatherings with seasonal, farm-led menus (Santa Cruz, Monterey, and beyond).
We teach—live classes, small challenges, and the kind of skill-building that makes scratch cooking feel doable.
We connect you to farmers, to each other, and to your own rhythm in the kitchen.
Call it food sovereignty if you like.
I think of it as choosing what feeds you—body, soil, family, future.
Every loaf, every jar, every shared meal becomes part of your family’s story.
This is the Wylder Way:
simple, soulful, sovereign.
From my kitchen to yours, I’m really glad you’re here.
In gratitude,
Molly & the Wylder Space team
